We’re considering a feature to allow video and GIF issue reporting, similar to Loom, to improve bug tracking and website issue submissions. Current Alternative: Session Replay Videos Automatically capture and replay user actions right before an issue is submitted, giving developers clear context without needing extra input from reporters. Would like to see the possibility to add custom fields to the widgets when using the webhook integration! Using Zapier or Pipedream gives me the opportunity to map the fields in our system, eg. Favro

Some ideas: Pixel Ruler Tool – A way to measure distances between elements on a screenshot. Straight Line Tool – An option to draw straight lines for more precise annotations. Adjustable Thickness – The ability to change the thickness of lines, rectangles, and circles. Feedback Dots – Small dots that can be placed anywhere on a screenshot to mark feedback points. Strikethrough Text – A tool to cross out text when something needs to be removed or changed. Highlight Text – A way to highlight text directly on the screenshot for clarity. Improved Arrow Orientation – More control over arrow positioning to ensure they point exactly where needed.

Allow the escape key to close the widget input panel, without the confirmation prompt. Also allow the escape key to close the Marker.io window before the widget loads.

Right now, some users need to log into Marker.io to see the widget on a website. We want to remove this requirement and let teams decide exactly who gets access. How It Could Work Teams could choose who sees the widget, without requiring a Marker.io login. Options might include: Everyone Only internal team members Only logged-in users on the website Only people with a special invite link Only visitors from a specific country or region Only on certain pages etc

Delayed Screenshot with Timer Description: A Delayed Screenshot feature allowing users to set a specific delay time (e.g., 5 seconds, 10 seconds) before a screenshot is captured. This will help in capturing transient UI elements like hover-over menus, tooltips, or timed pop-ups that disappear quickly. Benefits: Captures hover-over elements and timed pop-ups. Improves accuracy in screenshot capture. Enhances user experience by providing more control over screenshots. This is a feature request to allow people to assign feedback to their Marker.io team members & guests - without relying on integrating with external tools.

Track user performance and flag it when a user has long loading time on the website.

We’re considering a "Magic Link" that automatically sets up Marker.io without needing a code snippet. This link would include both the website and the Marker.io widget, so users can get started with just one click. The Problem Right now, setting up Marker.io requires adding code to the website - unless you use the browser extension: https://help.marker.io/en/articles/6495644 The Benefit A Magic Link would let anyone get Marker.io running without involving developers. Just share the link, and everything is ready to go.
